ABOUT ME
Growing up, I always loved to write. I would write stories about the life I hoped to live as an adult and often daydream about my future.
In school, English was always one of my favorite subjects and I took a lot of pride in my writing. When I reached high school, my creative side turned to performing arts. I worked hard at performing, writing, and learning everything within the theater program. I graduated high school with a performing arts diploma and entered college as an art major.
A year of studying art and photography passed, and I decided to change trajectory. In my sophomore year of college I began majoring in geology. My passion for hiking and the outdoors drove my desire to study geology. However, after a semester of geology, the idea of writing and taking my childhood passion for writing and combining it with my love for the outdoors became more appealing.
During my college journey, I studied French and was fortunate enough to spend a semester abroad. I completed my semester studying abroad in Lyon, France in May of 2024 at the Catholic University of Lyon with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC).
The following May of 2025, I graduated form the University of Nevada, Reno with BA in Journalism (emphasis in photo, video, and audio production).
As it stands, I have turned another life long passion of studying martial arts into a fulfilling job as I now work for 360 Martial Arts as a Program Director and Instructor.
I am hopeful for the future and am looking forward to the challenges as well as new experiences that life will throw my way.
